100 Word Challange

I slowly climbed out of the bath feeling queasy because of the long amount of time I have spent in the boiling hot bath. But as soon as my favourite song came on I lost all feelings of dizziness and danced around but as soon as I tried to bust the hardest move ,the fighter, I fall over clumsily, well it seems I wasn’t quite as ready to dance as I thought I was. I hit my head and green and orange spots suddenly come dancing into my vision. “Whoa” I mumble, as I stumble around like a drunk man. Suddenly I stop and flop to the floor unconsciously……...

100 Word Challange

I was crouching in the space between my bed and the
wall so that no-one would be able to find me. It had
been raining all morning and with nothing to do I had
sat on the squished myself into a small space to watch
YouTube as my eyes slowly turned square. BANG!!!
BANG!!! BANG!!!, someone was attempting to push my
door to the ground, I was about to shout GO AWAY!!!
But then I remembered that I wasn’t supposed to be
watching YouTube so I stayed quiet as the door swung
open. In came my mother carrying piles of laundry. I
stayed as quiet as a mouse as she placed the laundry on
my bed I prayed for her to leave and not see me tucked
away and my wish came true but as she left the room I
felt heavy in my stomach if I didn’t want my own mother
to see what I was doing then surely it wasn’t right.

Morale: Deep down you know what is right so follow that
instinct and good things will come if not you are the one
that is suffering.

(My story on how the statue got there)

Many years ago, long before civilization was
established men, women and children decided
that fighting was bad and that no-one should
fight because of the risks that fighting possess.
This was decision was made around the Iron
age. One extremely strong band of men decided
to show their respect to this decision by molding
a gun. You may be thinking, doesn’t a gun
symbolise fighting so how is this showing respect
to the decision. But the men recognised this
and they did something special with the gun they
tied a knot to the end of the statue gun showing
that it would never fire again. And we still have
this statue to this day.

These spiky ball plants. Come in different come in
different shapes and sizes. They are one of a kind
you can get the spiky ones and the spiky ones. Yep
that’s right there is no such thing as a non spiky
ball plant. Disappointing right because this means
that whenever you stand on one you will, no matter
what get a sore foot. This is why you should not buy
a spiky ball plant. It is a serious problem if you get
a sore foot from this spiky ball because your foot might
get infected and then if the problem proggerses you
might lose your foot and that is not good. So don’t buy
this tree that makes these spiky ball plants.

Reflective Questions

4. What learning or work today brought you the most satisfaction? Why?

In music Me and Emma mastered two pieces of music on the guitar. It gave me lots of
satisfaction because we had been practising for ages and we nailed it when it mattered.Image result for guitar

100 Word Challange

“There is a animal that no-one has seen before” the
broadcaster said “a terrifying creature that lives
right under our noses it is a lion, but  not just any old
lion this lion has a serpent for a tail and this serpent
bites and spits poison. The teeth of the lion is here in
our presence its teeth are sharper than any other and
it breathes fire. There is a prize going out to the human
that catches this hideous creature and brings it to our
ruler. The creature can be found right here in this desert”.
These were the last words out of his mouth, his last words
before the feared creature bit of his head.

100 Word Challange

As I walked home from school I pictured a fresh cold glass
of milk, a chocolate chip cookie and a hug from my mum. I
pushed open the creaky gate and swaggered up to the door.
An idea popped into my head and I planned to scare mum.
I pushed the doorbell and hid behind a bush. No-one came
to the door, that’s odd I think to myself and push open the
front door. “Mum” I call down the hallway “mum where are
you” there is no sound only my footsteps echoing down the
hallway. A note lay on the kitchen it said your mum is at the
hospital. Confused I ran to the hospital where mum was
laying on the bed with a small baby. “Mum” I cry “what’s
wrong?”, “nothing” she said “but look it’s your baby brother”.
“What” I say “when did it arrive” “yesterday” she said smiling.

Reflective Questions

Where did you meet success, and who did it benefit the most along the way?

I met success when I was in philosophy and I got the answers
to the quiz that we were given. It benefited me and my table the
most.

How can you share this with them? What were you most proud of?

I shared it with them by showing them my piece of paper.
It made me proud when they took the answers with gratitude
and delight at having the right answers.

100 Word Challange

“Come here” I shouted, “check out this sick cemetery” I told my best friend, “should we check it out” I ask, “sure” he replies. So carefully we push open  the Crimson gate that creaks as the hinges squeal from years of abandonment. We enter cautiously not wanting to disturb the misty presence of the dead we prepare to run frantically at the first sign of danger. I leap over a grave using my athletic skills to land safely away from the edge, unfortunately my best friend also tries to jump but his slight gut disables him from jumping the length easily and he lands on top of the grave. A look of horror arises on his face and I laugh and then feel scared, what does this mean will we be haunted for the rest of our lives at that moment a sound of thunder rages across the graveyard and without a moment's hesitation we run from the graveyard screaming, as we leave we don’t close the gate…...

“A huge teacup just fell down from the sky’’ I exclaimed “Yeah” “as if” all of my friends said “teacups don’t just fall out of the sky” “But this one did” I shout “DAVID” my teacher shouted “DON'T TELL SILLY TALES THAT AREN'T TRUE, YOU WILL CONFUSE THE YOUNGER KIDS AND MAKE MY JOB TEN TIMES HARDER.” “but miss” “NO, NO BUTS” She retorted. “Go sit in the corner” so I left to go sit in the corner my face burning with shame and tears forming in my eyes. THis show and tell was not going the way I wanted. There is going to be revenge I thought and when there is nobody will ever accuse me of lying again.

8CH Week 7

This week I was playing in the NZ Post Cup tournament. The whole tournament was a knockout we won our first match against St Joseph so this meant that we progressed through to the next round on Tuesday. Unfortunately we lost our second match against Berkley and we had to return to school for a normal afternoon. On Wednesday we had more cricket and we were leaving on the bus to go down to Hereworth to play a fixture against them. The night before we played we stayed down there in someone else's home and they took us to school in the morning. Unfortunately we lost our match and were all out for 44. This week was a great week

100 Word Challange

We all know that school can be a very interesting place
sometimes but we also know that it can be very boring
but what if I was in charge. I can tell you that if I was
in charge every single day would have 1-2 hrs of P.E,
Sport would be every day and you wouldn’t have to
wear your blazer to school every day. There would be
no homework all of your learning would be done inside
of school. Every year you would be able to take seven
days off school for no reason this would be our sabbatical.
That is what would happen if I were in charge.

The strange trees seemed to morph from the regular ones.
Creating an effect that looked like a angry sea of trees. I
was running alone in the park trying to get rid of the
disappointment that clung to me, the disappointment of
not being picked to featured in the latest news paper. I was
a journalist a world class journalist in my opinion but
obviously not the publishers opinion. They were singing
and dancing about well I can’t really say singing more
like chanting but it was still a strange sight. A chanting
group of trees doing yoga. This will get me published I
think snapping away with my camera.

12/2/18

…..we were moving very fast when……

It was a cold winter's morning and we were
moving very fast when the man jumped out
from behind the bush with a machine gun in
his hand. “Hop out of the car” he shouted, not
knowing what to do my mother and I stayed
in the car sinking low in our seats. “Ready?”
my Mum asked, “ready for what?” I answered.
Then without warning Mum pressed her foot
down on the accelerator and we surged forward
the car leapt from nought to sixty and we ran
over the man and without looking behind  left him
dying on the ground with blood rushing out of his
body like a water from a waterfull
